PAYFINE allows counties
to collect payments for traffic citations and court
fines over the Internet. To make a payment, the user
logs on to PAYFINE.org
and selects the county where the citation was issued.
All payments are made with a credit card and submitted
directly to the county. The user then enters his name
and credit card information.
Counties are finding that they are collecting up to $5000
or more each month by allowing the public to make payments
online. In addition, counties are not burdened with the
unnecessary paperwork.
