
Preparation for E-filing
- Gather all your necessary documents together.
- Note: if this is a subsequent filing have your bar number and case number
handy.
- All exhibits to be e-filed need to be scanned at 200 dpi and as black and
white tiff file or PDF file. See "How to Scan."
- Word or word perfect documents created for the court case should be saved
on your local hard drive.
- Return to http://www.e-filing.com.
- From the Home page click on

the bottom of the screen.
- Enter your Login ID and Password. (If you forget your password, check your
e-mail inbox there should be a confirmation e-mail from E-Filing.com with
your User ID and Password.)
- Then choose your "File Type" and "State/ Circuit." Click on "Submit."
- Choose the "County" and "Courthouse" with which you
want to file. Click on "Submit."
- On the following page you can:
- 1. Enter the data for the case you're filing. (Refer to instructions for
the "How to E-File a Case."
- 2. Search for the status of your past e-filings. Click on "Search."
